GIDGE, LES Sr.
Due to a lengthy illness on Monday December 24, 2018 at Innisfree Hospice in Kitchener. Les Gidge of Waterloo at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Beth Gidge (nee Warner). Loving father of Albert Gidge and his wife Kerri of Hamilton, Tom Tugwood and his wife Sandra of Glace Bay N.S., Les Jr. of Waterloo, Harry Campbell and his wife Crystal of Ingersoll, Willie Tugwood and his wife Debora of Waterloo. Les is lovingly survived by a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved son of Dorothy (nee Bungay) Gidge of Corner Brook NFLD. Dear brother of Judy Kennedy and her husband Gary of Goulds, NFLD. and Helen Durdle and her husband Kevin of Clarenville, NFLD and survived by his sister-in-law Marlene Gidge. Survived by uncle Clyde Bungay and his wife Margaret of Fredericton N.B. Les is lovingly remembered by a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his father Albert B. Gidge (2013) and brothers Leonard and Thomas. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNEREAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 617 KING ST., N., WATERLOO, (across from Home Depot) From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday, December 28th, 2018. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Followed by interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
