Obituary of Leone Matheson
Peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on Thursday morning, December 20th, 2018. Veda Leone Matheson (nee Kirkland), of Owen Sound, at the age of 84 years. Dearly loved wife for 43 years of the late John Matheson (2000). Loving mother of Todd Matheson and his wife, Cheryl, of Markham and Wendy Makey and her husband, Paul, of Caledonia. Proud grandmother of Lorena, Andrew and Courtney Matheson and Jacob Makey. Dear sister of Beverly Kirkland (Doreen), of Tara and sister-in-law of Jean Matheson, of Halifax, Elsie Wilford, of Oliphant and Eleanor Harris, of Scarborough. Predeceased by her parents, David and Veda Kirkland and her brothers-in-law, A.A. Gus Matheson, Bill “Wink” Wilford and Don Harris.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Leone Matheson will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Kerr officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
