LANTEIGNE, Leonard
The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years Vera (née Ostrowski) Lanteigne. Son of the late Luc and of the late Lauza Lanteigne. Beloved father of Linda Headrick (Mac) and late André Lanteigne (Denise). Cherished grandfather of Kaytee (Mike), Mac Jr., Sean, Danielle and Chantal. Great-grandfather of Dominic. Dear brother of Jeannine Gaudreau (late Larry Philon), Alyre (Madeleine), Eddy (Lavina). Predeceased by his brothers Neil, Leopold, Gerard, Theodore, Alfred, Vernon, Paul-Emile and Claude. He leaves us with many cherished memories. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Acknowledgement and thanks for their compassionate care is extended to Dr. Sullivan; the Northeast Lhin; the medical staff of Health Sciences North (8th floor); Comfort Keepers; Paramed and Bayshore Nursing. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations gratefully accepted (by cheque only or online) to Northern Cancer Foundation.
