Obituary of Leonard Houwen
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Leonard after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday April 27, 2018. Leonard, age 66. Loving husband of Brenda. Son of the late Gertruda Klueskens and Thoedor Houwen. Dear Dad of Lenny and James. Proud Grandpa of Emma and Elyssa. Dear brother of Maria (Howard Kuehl), Gerarda Bertrand (Garnet), Gerard (Alice), Antonia (Wayne Doherty), Gertrude Brydges (late Charlie Ricard). Predeceased by siblings Wilhemena (Arthur Blaskevitch), Johanna and Wilhelmus. Len will be greatly missed by Matthew, Sara, Owen, Janelle, Steve and his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Monday May 30 from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after 11 am Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Tuesday May 1st at 12noon. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
