Leonard Joseph Daigle
1944-2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard
Joseph Daigle, age 74, formerly of Blacks Harbour NB on October 25,
2018, at his home in Pennfield NB. Born in Jacquet River NB, June 5,
1944, he was the son of the late James John Daigle and Delia
(Gauthier) Daigle.
He leaves to mourn his brother: Allen Daigle; sister: Ida Justason;
son: Jeffrey (Tanya) Daigle; many nieces and nephews; and many
friends, especially David Maillet.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers: Raymond,
Joseph R., Gerald and Joe « Sonny »; and sisters: Hilda and
Geraldine.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with
visiting on Wednesday from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Catholic Church,
Blacks Harbour NB on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Father Rolando Suplido
officiating, followed by the internment in the parish cemetery. In
Leonard’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would
be appreciated by the family.
