MEILLEUR, Leona « Lolly »
On Thursday May 10, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital following a hard fought battle with cancer. After 50 years together, Leona married her beloved husband, David Hilts, just two weeks before her passing. Mother of Dan (Sharon), Lisa (Paul) and Mary Ann (John). Grandmother to Amber, Jake, Michael, Mason, Cameron, Travis, and great grandchildren Aurora, Jason and Mackenzie. Aunt Lol to Jody, Dale and Scott and many others. Sister of Phyllis, Tina, Doug and Craig. Predeceased by 5 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 nieces. An avid Bingo player, Lolly frequently came home from Rama Bingo in Mississauga a lucky winner! She will be sadly missed by her many friends. The family will receive visitors at J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Sunday May 13, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place Monday at 8 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. If desired, memorial donations to the Carlo Fidani Cancer Centre (Credit Valley Hospital) would be appreciated. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Wong of Milton and all the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital for their care.
