THIBODEAU, Leona Marie – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, with her family at her side, on Friday December 28, 2018 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Omer Thibodeau (1988) and daughter of Leandre and Clara Parent. Cherished mother of Danielle (Victor) Pietrangelo, Louis (Margaret) Thibodeau and the late Georgette (2015) (the late Stephen (2013)) Lafferty. Loving grandma of Margaret (Mark) DeMille, Kevin (Mary Anne) Lafferty, Paul Lafferty, Michael Lafferty, Lise Pietrangelo, Gina (David) Marotta, Dean Pietrangelo, Victor (Anita) Pietrangelo, Christine Thibodeau, Adam (Nikki) Thibodeau and Aaron Thibodeau. Dear great-grandma to Erik, Jessica, Ryan, Tyler, Brady, Riley, Jenna, Julia, Jared, Adam, Kristofer, Victor, Rhiannon, Remy, Caleb, Max, Ben, Grace, Olivia, Erika and Milena. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Jacqueline Ehret. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday December 31, 2018 at 11 am at St. Patrick’s Church. A reception will follow at Delphi Banquet Hall (4414 Portage Road). In memory of Mrs. Thibodeau, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) or St. Patrick’s Church and would be appreciated by her family.
