Obituary for Mrs. Leola Effie Fawcett
Passed away peacefully at Bay Haven Senior Care Community, Collingwood, ON, on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 in her 97th year. Loving daughter of the late Harry and Delle Bristow. Leola, beloved wife of Herbert Fawcett, Ron Dingwall and Albert Jackson. Dear mother of Wayne Jackson and the late Laurie Jackson and Lynda Jackson. Devoted grandma of Trent Jackson, Shawn (Sharon) Doyle and great-grandma of Liam and Sadie. Loving remembered by step-son Gary (Nita), brother-in-law Walter McGuire and many family and friends very dear to Leola. Predeceased by siblings Joyce Madill, Lois McGuire, Murray, Gerald and Bud Bristow. Visitation will be at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, on Friday, November 16th, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm and Saturday from 11am – Noon followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 12 Noon. Interment Rob Roy Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Rob Roy United Church.
