Lafrenière, Lena Grace (nee Perrier)
1927-2018
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Florent Lafrenière (1995) and loving mother of Jocelyne Lauzon-Denis (Raymond) and Ronald Lafrenière (Sue). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Luc Lauzon (Chantal), Julie-Anne Lauzon, Christelle Card (Tim), Lianne Lafrenière and Patricia Lafrenière and her great grandchildren Erica, Whitney and Mason Card, Abby and Danika Lauzon and Trent Evans. Dear sister of Alcide Perrier (late Marie) of Kirkland Lake, Edna Chenier (late Marcel) of Ashcroft BC, Armand Perrier (Mary) Callender, ON, Marguerite Rivett (Ted) of Kirkland Lake. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her parents Tomas and Maria Perrier, her siblings: Anicet Perrier, Patrick Perrier (Jean), Renay Perrier, Doreen Desjardins ( Philippe), Thomas Perrier and her son-in-law Bob Lauzon (2005). A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 from the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Alexis O’Lenga officiating). Interment of ashes to follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery, Remembrance donations to the Extendicare Timmins or the Kinsmen Club of the Porcupine (Cystic Fibrosis) would be greatly appreciated.
