Lena Claire Bothe
October 31, 2016 – April 11, 2018
On October 31, 2016 Lena Claire Bothe was born to her loving parents, Chris and Deryn Bothe and welcomed lovingly by her big sisters, Juliette and Sydney.
From the moment of her birth, Lena’s fighting spirit prevailed. Lena was surrounded by the most loving and supportive family and friends, being showered with a love that knew no bounds. This was bestowed upon Lena and was a reflection of all that she radiated out into the World and towards others: a determined and brave spirit, an inner strength that was awe-inspiring, a light that could sparkle in pure darkness and a love so steadfast and strong that it will never leave us.
Lena was a genuine and true gift to this World and to those who love her. Her influence was far reaching and everlasting, a guiding force whose legacy and life continues to be carried by her loved ones. We know she will remain here with us and share in the love that we hold so dearly for her.
Lena was surrounded by the love of her family and friends as she was welcomed into Heaven by an army of angels.
Lena is survived by her loving parents Chris and Deryn Bothe, sisters, Juliette and Sydney, Grandparents Kelly and Lorna Bothe, Alan Tarr, Anne Bothe, Beverly Shaw, Joanne McGirr, Aunts and Uncles Kelley-Dawn and Steve Doucette, Sherri and Trevor Lahey, Alexander and Wendy Tarr, Alanna and Ryan Wharf and many cousins, great aunts and uncles. Lena was predeceased by her grandmother Jane Tarr.
Lena’s viewing will take place Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg MB.
A celebration of Lena’s life will take place Thursday April 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm 17 Wing Chapel, 2235 Silver Ave, Winnipeg MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lena’s honour to The SSCY Centre (Specialized Services for Children and Youth), The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba or The Ronald McDonald House Charity Manitoba.
