Bernie was born on December 7, 1933, in Trochu, Alberta to parents of French-Canadian heritage. One of seven siblings, life on the farm was challenging but full of love and music. From playing hockey on the pond to musical jam sessions in the living room, Bernie lived a life full of family, travel, and a passion for learning. Retirement allowed him to pursue his love of travelling the world with Maxine, photography, and music.
