Lea Zingaretti (née Montanaro)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lea, with her loving family by her side on July 21, 2018 at 77 years of age. Born May 2, 1941 in San Martino in Pensilis, province of Campobasso, Italy. Loving daughter of late the Enrico and Maria (Ferrara). Beloved wife of the late Silvio Zingaretti. They were married for five days shy of their 23rd wedding anniversary. Will be sadly missed by her daughters, Antonietta (Joe) and Silvia (Daren) and by her grand children Antonio, Michele (Mic), Gage and Tristan. The youngest of 11 children, she is fondly remembered by her siblings, Luigi (Gatineau) and Silvana (Grottaferatta, Roma). She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters Michelina, Luciano, Nina, Giuseppe, Tilde, Antonio, Pasquina and Benita. A very special thank you to the staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital, 5th floor, for extraordinary care and dedication to Lea.

Wednesday, July 25th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday to St. Anthony’s Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. The burial will follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Lea has asked that donations be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation at www.childrenswish.ca.
