At the Prince County Hospital Summerside, on Wednesday, April
11, 2018 of Layton E. Profitt of Summerside aged 91 years.
Born in Summerside, November 13, 1926 son of the late Ellis and Lilly
(Caseley) Profitt. Loving husband of Jean (Adams) Profitt.
Loving father of Bethany (Edwin) MacArthur, Douglas (Ferne) Profitt,
Marshall (Gillian) Profitt and Karen Wilson. Special grandfather of
Kent (Lorelei) MacArthur, Karen MacArthur, Heather Profitt Robinson
(Paul Robinson), Sarah Profitt (George Wagner), Adam Profitt,
Katherine Wilson, Kim Graham. Special great-grandfather of Malone,
Murphy, Jeana-Beth MacArthur and Reanna Graham and Peyton Rose
Robinson.
Predeceased by sister Margaret (Leighton) Stewart;
brother-in-law, Lorne Adams; mother and father-in-law, Eva and Keith
Adams.
Resting at Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on
Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Monday at Trinity United Church,
Summerside service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery,
Summerside. If so desired, contributions may be
made to the MS Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Brethren of Mount Moriah Lodge No. 15 Bedeque will
hold a Masonic memorial service at the funeral home Sunday evening at
7 p.m.
