Obituary of Laurence Spurr
SPURR, Laurence Burton – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his family at his side, on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
Laurence Spurr of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Meredith Spurr (nee Dament). Loving father of Bonnie Armstrong (James), White Lake; and Sheila Dumas (Ward Somerville), Beachburg. Cherished grandfather of Aaron Dumas (Amanda), Amber Dumas (Caleb) & Casey Armstrong (Belinda). Dear brother of William (late Joan) & Henry (late Betty) Spurr; and predeceased by brothers James (Carol) & Winston (late Jenny); sister Marion; and parents William & Nina Spurr (nee Ramsay), all of Nova Scotia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
