LARRY ASMUS
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Larry Asmus on Friday, June 15, 2018 at St Boniface Hospital with his wife Leslie by his side.
Left to survive Larry are his wife Leslie; brothers Ron and Ken; sisters-in-law Heather, Jennifer (Leon); mother-in-law Janice and nephews Chris, Seth, Nolan and niece Lexi. He was predeceased by parents Rudy and Stella Asmus.
Larry spent over 30 years in the trucking industry, first as a driver, then dispatcher, and ending with freight broker. His parents lived in Ponema where he grew up and met many friends in and around Winnipeg Beach.
A come and go Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., with a bonfire to follow on his acreage at 1032 Peel Road, RM St. Andrews. Family and friends who want to share their stories are more than welcome to come.
