Obituary of Lambertus « Bert » van Zandwijk
At St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, the Lord took unto Himself Bert van Zandwijk in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Geesje (2011). Loving father of Geoff and Tammy, Gary and Tamara, James, Wilhelmina and Mike Witte, and Catherine and Carlos. Loved Opa to Shasta, Azalie, Ezra, Paul and Grace. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Teunie and Leen Louwerse, Truus and Goos van Tuyl, Corrie and Jielis van Tuyl, Goof and Sijgje van Zandwijk, Wim and Patricia van Zandwijk, Lenk and Wendy van Zandwijk, and Ineke and Rinus Verlee. Friends will be received for visitation at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 17 Robinson Rd, Dunnville on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m., and on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will start at 11:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bert may be made to the Salvation Army Foodbank, Dunnville Christian School, or the Haldimand Pregnancy Centre.
