Kovacs, Jozsef Gabriel. Peacefully, with family by his side at Deer Park Villa, Grimsbay July 29, 2018 in his 97th year.
Jozsef was a lover of life. His appreciation of people, a defender of women, his joy of children, his love of nature, his deep commitment to family, and his ability to dream, made him a person to be admired and remembered with fondness and love. Joe was very well travelled. He began his journey that took him from war torn Hungary, across Europe, then eventually to England where he met the love of his life, Bernadette (Erna). He he often made a point of letting anyone know that, “ she made him the man he was”. Thanks Mom! Dad was legendary for his defence and love of women of all ages. So many “sweethearts”…and “buddies”. His children Christine and Brian, his grandchildren Adam and Aury, and his great-grandchildren Kaleb and Conor were the centre of his life…his heart. The brightest stars of his life were always Adam and Aury. Adam often remembered the “Grampster” saying; “The cleaver brain doesn’t keep the stupid hair”. Aury will always know that, “Gramp” taught him to never let go of the kid in him. His biggest “Party Buddy”, Brian, will hold memories of heartfelt stories by the pool.
