MONIZ; Kirsten Mae ~ It is with great sadness we announce, after a long and very courageous battle with A.M.L., Kirsten passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms on January 14, 2018 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 37. Kirsten (née McDonald) was the loving and treasured best friend and wife of Peter Moniz for 17 years. Proud and ever-loving mother of Julia and Alysha. Predeceased by her father Ronald Macdonald. Survived by her mother Sue Drew, step-father Rick Drew, mother-in-law Kathy Moniz and father-in-law Avelino Moniz. Cherished sister of Ronald, Robert and Gwen McDonald; sister-in-law of Jean-Paul Moniz and his wife Diane. Aunt of Isaac and Mackenzie. Niece of Tom and Carol. Kirsten was a beautiful woman who loved her family very much. She will always be missed and never forgotten.
