A resident of Chatham, Ken Leach passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 80.
Born in Chatham, Ken was the son of the late Harold and Nancy (Tasker) Leach.
Dear brother of Joanne Parkins (Tom) of Fonthill.
Much loved uncle of Jeff Parkins (Bernadette) of Hillsburgh, Melisa Hillman (Stuart) of St. Catharines, Joseph Parkins of Alberta, Kathryn Parkins of Toronto and Kirby Parkins (Leah) of Fonthill.
Great-uncle to Evelyn and Levi.
Also missed by extended family and friends.
Ken was a graduate of Chatham Collegiate Institute and received his degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto. He worked as a civil engineer for the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Transportation. Upon his retirement, Ken moved back to Chatham where he enjoyed playing bridge, woodworking and bowling.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Merlin Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Kenneth to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
