OBITUARY
Kenneth Nolin Robb
March 4, 1935 – November 19, 2018
At Sunnyside Nursing Home (Woodside) after suffering many years with C.O.P.D.
Devoted, beloved husband and best friend of Ann-elies and little furry companion Pebbles. Much loved father of the late Kenneth Jr. (Cathy), of Hamilton, Sandra of Kelowna, BC., Sharon Buddo (Ron) of Vancouver Is. Loving stepfather of Katherine Taylor (Al) Kitchener and Major Ron Busch of Petawawa. Dear Grandfather of Megan Robb of Hamilton, Nicole Starett (Richard) of Oakville, and great grandfather of Fern Starett. Son of the late Edna and Howard Robb, of Sault Ste. Marie, Son-in-law of the late Hans & Ellen Nelson, of Sault Ste. Marie, Brother of Lloyd(Vera) of Sault Ste. Marie, Edwin(Karen) of Sault Ste.Marie, George(late Marion) of Honduras, Al (Donna) of Simcoe, Audrey Malatinski (late Karl) of Hamilton. Uncle to many nieces & nephews. Ken enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force 1954-1978, after training in St. Jean PQ and Clinton ON, he served on many Air Force Bases and Stations across Canada i.e. Parent PQ, Foymont ON, Gandre NFLD, Alsask SK, Lac Saint Denis PQ, DEW Line Sites in the NWT, McCord Air Force Base, Tacoma WA, North Bay ON (7 years) & Distant Early Warning Sites (DEW) in the high Arctic (2 yrs). After retirement from the RCAF, Ken was employed by the Cdn Corps of Commissionaires. He supervised 50 Commissionaires primarily involved in security services at the Sault Ste. Marie Civic Center & various Federal Depts.
Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ken and Ann-elies moved to Kitchener in 2002 to be closer to family, where they enjoyed their retirement and made many friends. Friends may visit Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. Kitchener, on Saturday, November 23rd from 10-11 am with a service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Memorial donations can be made to Sunnyside Foundation, Canadian Lung Association or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church (Kitchener).
