It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth on May 29, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Kevin (Louise) granddaughters Amy (Rob) and Lindsay and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia and daughter Karen.
Kenneth worked at Northwest Industries as a NDT Inspector for 42 years retiring in 1993. He also volunteered over 10,000 hours and 40 years with St. John’s Ambulance as a First Aider. He loved camping in Banff and Jasper with his family and travelling to Vancouver Island to visit family. He was passionate about aircraft and rarely missed an airshow.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of Jasper Place Continuing Care for their care, kindness and companionship over the past 18 months. The family would also like to thank the Royal Alexandra Hemodialysis unit staff and doctors for the care they have provided over the past 4 years.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel with viewing one hour prior 16204 Fort Rd., Edmonton (access via 153 Avenue) with internment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation or St. John’s Ambulance.
