Suddenly on October 9, 2017, Kelly Cooper, of Medford New Jersey, beloved husband of Marlene A. Cooper (nee Johanson) passed away at the age of 77 years.
Loving husband of Marlene and father of his children Cheryl L. Walk and her husband, Frank, Lindsay A. Cooper and his wife, Maureen and Scott D. Cooper. Dearly loved grandfather of Craig and Heather Walk and Shawn, Dylan and Eric Cooper and great grandfather of Piper Francis Duning and McKenzie Cooper. Dear brother of Cleve Cooper and his wife, Shirley, Gail Johnson and her husband, Roger and Betty Dufoe and her husband, Gordon.
Kelly was born and raised in Manitoba Canada and attended Amaranth School. He went to Winnipeg for work and eventually he and his wife, Marlene settled in Medford where they raised their family. His working career was spent in the life insurance industry where he retired as Management. He was an active volunteer and dedicated to his community through the Jaycees in Willingboro, the Medford Masonic Lodge 178, the Crescent Shrine in Burlington and the Odd Fellows Association in Medford. Kel was a life member of the Taunton Volunteer Fire Company and an active member of Marlton United Methodist Church. Through his generous spirit, he often befriended those in need. The people he touched throughout his life are many; but those he touched most are his loving family. He will be remembered by them for his love of wildlife, especially birds and hummingbirds and his extensive travel within the US, Canada and overseas. He and his wife spent 8 years traveling across the United States and Canada with their grandchildren meeting family and sharing experiences which cannot be erased and are forever in their hearts.
