Keith Hornibrook
Hornibrook, Keith Samuel – Peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Rapelje Lodge in his 96th year. Gone to be with the love of his life Donna Velma née Cooper (2007). Dear father of Billy (Lynne). Loving brother of Betty Galbraith and Norma Beamish. Will be sadly missed by his nieces Pam Farr, Donna Labbe and his nephew Brian O’Dell as well as many other nieces and nephews from out of town. Predeceased by his parents Ethel and Harold Hornibrook, his sisters Bertha O’Dell, Hazel Bilodeau, Marge Pyle, Greta Yemm and his brother Orville Hornibrook. Keith joined the military at the age of 17 where he served overseas in WWII, in Holland, Italy and Jamaica and was injured in a motorcycle accident and spent 5 months in hospital. Keith was also the co-founder of the Men’s Detox in St. Catharines as well as Arid House in Thorold and Fort Erie and Wish House in Welland. A Celebration of Keith’s life will be held at Central United Church (12 Young Street, Welland) on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Arid Group Homes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
