Keith Lyle Johns
It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Johns announces his passing after a well-fought battle with cancer. Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Brenda; his daughter, Carissa (Jeremy) and only grandchild, Arabella; his daughter, Amanda (Christopher); his brother, Irving (Paulette) and their son, Jeremy; his nieces, Michelle Sharyk and her son, Corey, and Mona Sharyk and her daughters, Bridget and Hailey Martyniuk; his sister, Grace (Don) Morgan and their children, Lori, Cory and Dustin Klarenbach; his sister-in-law, Patricia and her children, Kurt (Laurie) Johns and Melissa (Matt) Gorman; his brothers-in-law, Gerald (Kim) and their children, Dalton, Brianna and Jenaya Audit, and Rob (Lori) Audit and their children, Jordan and Jenna Audit. He was predeceased by his parents, Irene and Eugene Johns; his sister, Diane (Edward) and their son, Sheldon Sharyk; his brothers, Lawrence Johns and Gordon Johns, and his son, Valentine Johns; his nephew, Joelle Klarenbach; and his father-in-law, Ghislain Audit. Keith was a certified horticulture technician and a successful business owner with his brother, Irvine Johns, in a family business, Johns Nursery, which has been in existence for over 100 years. Keith was instrumental in the recognition of landscaping as a trade in the Prince Albert area, and then the province. Anyone who met Keith knew of his passion for his family first and foremost. Some other interests in Keith’s life were a love for fishing (summer or winter) and, of course, he enjoyed a great game of cribbage. A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Plaza 88. Please stay and join the family after the celebration for food and refreshments. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
