Obituary for
Kayla Bruyere
Kayla Lynn Bruyere
With her parents by her side, Kayla Lynn peacefully walked through the Gates of Heaven on Sunday, May 13, 2018.
Kayla was born at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 16, 1985. Though faced with many challenges she always endured with the most beautiful smile and positive attitude. She is our inspiration to never give up.
Kayla was adamant on keeping a routine, which included playing solitaire, board games, listening to Shania and watching her daily episodes of the Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives and the Golden Girls. Among her many things to do, her most favorite was scrap booking with her close friends, Crystal Dolph, Lorilee « Lolly » Smith, Sarah Gervais and Sharon Hupchuk.
Kayla is lovingly remembered by her parents, David and Laura Bruyere; sisters Laureen (Jason) Hill, Trisha (Gord) Caribou; nephews Mathew Hill, Ty Caribou;niece Makenna Hill; grandmother Josephine Bruyere; special aunts Pauline Perreault, Monica Morrisseau and uncle Kirk Bruyere along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. If friends and family wish to attend, a service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11 :00 a.m. with Father Alan Albao officiating. A luncheon will follow at Dave and Laura’s residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Hospital or charity of your choice, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, Ontario P0W 1E0.
