Kathleen Carter
Carter, Kathleen (nee Lafreniere) passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital after a couragous battle with cancer on Friday March 16th at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late John Leonard Carter. Loving mother of Dana Moore (Marvin), Elizabeth Peppler (late Rick) and the late Paul Stevens. Grandmother of Laura Presley (Bryan) and Lynda Perrin (Michael). Great grandmother of Christopher and Kayla Presley. Sister of Jeannette Robillard (late Marcel), and predeceased by Gordon Lafreniere (late Marie-Paule) and Marguerite-Anne Lafreniere. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church on Wednesday March 21st at 11:30 am. If desired, donations to Hospice Huronia or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated and will be accepted by the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
