Ms. Katherine Teresa Showers
Passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Guelph General Hospital. Katherine was the beloved wife of Troy Beecraft. She was the dear mother of Michael Showers, Jason Showers and Stephanie Weyers. She was a devoted grandmother to eight wonderful grandchildren: Jordan, Nicki, Presley, Jade, Destiny, Brayden, Landen and Chanelle and a great grandmother to three great-grandchildren: Lyric Brielle, Luca and Laiken. Katherine is survived and will be greatly missed by her mother Maria Zai and her siblings Dennis (Cybil) and Johnny (Shelly). Katherine will be remembered by her many extended family members and friends.
Katherine was a woman with a quick laugh, a beautiful smile and she had a passion for travel. Katherine and Troy fell in love with Tennessee and spent a lot of time there in recent years. Katherine especially loved Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Family and friends of Katherine will be received at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria Street North, Breslau (519-904-0400) for an informal visitation on Wednesday, October 10th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In Katherine’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
Following with Katherine’s wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered in Tennessee.
