Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Moeschter
Karl Heinz
May 30,
1928-March 28, 2018
It is with
sad hearts we announce the passing of Karl Heinz Moeschter, loving husband of
Anne, proud father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Karl was born
in Germany, and became a citizen of Canada after arriving in the port of
Halifax in 1952. Karl’s passion for discovering the world led him to many
destinations, where he developed his skills in photography and languages. His
love for horticulture and all things green lured him across Canada to Victoria’s
Butchart Gardens and eventually back to Ontario, where he settled in the town
of Georgetown. Here he raised a family while contributing his expertise to the
beautiful gardens of the Dominion Seed House. He is remembered for his clever
sense of humor, kind nature, and uncanny ability to see those little but very
important things in life. Karl’s family wishes to thank the staff at the
Waterford Long Term Care in Oakville for their dedicated and compassionate
care. You are appreciated. A private family graveside service was held.
Arrangements entrusted to Glen Oaks Funeral Home.
