Lovingly Remembered
Justina (Tina) Evenzki passed away at the High River Hospital on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
She was the loving mother of Shirley (Rod) Siegle of Medicine Hat, AB and Kenneth Evenzki of Okotoks, AB. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Doreen Evenzki; three nieces Sandra Brigden, Edwina Blake, Roxanne Pederson, their husbands and families. She was predeceased by her husband Albert and brothers Peter, Jacob and David Goertzen. Tina was born in Coaldale, AB and raised on a farm in the Countess area. She had moved numerous times throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan as her husband was transferred with CPR, they relocated to Okotoks in 1977. Tina had volunteered for over 20 years with the Okotoks Food Bank. She enjoyed needle work and embroidered many pictures that decorated the walls of her home. She loved her vegetable garden and flowers. Tina was very hardworking and had old fashioned values.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the Service, starting at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
