OBITUARY
June Esther Martin
June 3, 1931 – October 26, 2018
After a long journey, Mom passed away on Oct. 26, 2018 at The Views in Comox surrounded by her loving family. Mom was born in Bellevue, Alberta. She married our dad after 6 weeks of courtship and they were married for 53 years. After their move to the island in 1980, Mom enjoyed family life, their home in Arizona, many trips abroad, her beautiful garden and of course Christmas with her ever expanding family. June was predeceased by her husband Durward, son in law Sid Scott and precious granddaughter Rebecca Cross.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her children Judy Scott, Ken (Kim) Martin, Tammy (Sid) Cross, Belinda Matsuda and their families; sister Shirley, as well as half brothers and half sisters. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Hunter and the staff at The Views. Their kindness, care and compassion shown to our Mom and ourselves was amazing.
