Julie Anne Robertson
1971 – 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Julie Anne Robertson on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 46 years from a heart attack. Julie was born on December 7, 1971 in Hinton, Alberta the middle child of Don and Susan Robertson. Julie attended school at Ecole Mountain View and went on to graduate from the Hinton High School. She then attend for a brief time at the University of Alberta and also McEwan University in Edmonton. Julie worked at various businesses in Hinton including Hinton Shell, A&W, Freson’s IGA and most recently at Canadian Tire, where she worked for several years and was well known and well loved by the customers there. In her younger years, Julie was very active in the Anglican Church as a server, was a member of the choir and always loved to participate in the young people’s groups. Julie will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her parents Donald and Susan Robertson of Red Deer, sister Colleen Myhre (Dan) of Lloydminister, Colleen’s children Shaylene (Adam) of Edmonton and Shelby (Phaelen) of Lloydminister; Julie’s brother Patrick (Leanna) Robertson of Red Deer and their sons Tye, Carson and Kale. She is also survived and missed by many other relatives, her close friends and by her fellow employees. Julie was predeceased by two infant brothers, her paternal grandparents James and Colleen Robertson and maternal grandparents John and Jean Cohen. Julie will be endlessly loved and remembered by all, and will forever be “Daddy’s Little Girl.” Funeral services for the late Julie Robertson will be held at the Grace Church in Hinton on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Bill Bulger officiating. As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Julie, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society 10531 Kingsway Ave. Edmonton, Alberta T5H 4K1.
