Judith Ann (Judi) Perry (nee Whelan) Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, November 20th 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 70 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Edward, brother Paul and sister Bernice niece Kimberley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 46 years Kevin and daughter Andrea (Leona, who was like a daughter); siblings Florence (John), Leo (Barbara), John (Geraldine), Jerry (Sandra), Robert (Esther), Paulette (Tom) and Jeanette, In-laws Dave (Ida), Brenda (Keith deceased), Mary (Pat deceased) and Keith (Susan) as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Also leaving to mourn are Judi’s best friends Monica Roberts and Daphne Lidstone and special niece Brenda Peddle. A sincere thank you to her second family at Agnes Pratt whose care, compassion and love given to Judi over the past few years will always be remembered. Judi was an avid reader and loved to teach children to read. She volunteered at Mary Queen of the World Church with the choir and was past president of St. Vincent De Paul. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road, on Saturday and Sunday, November 24th and 25th from 12-9 p.m. Funeral will take place from Mary Queen of the World Topsail Road on Monday, November 26th at 10 a.m. Cremation and interment to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Judi’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
