MILLARD, Joyce Jacqueline
February 15, 1934 – January 22, 2018
Joyce was born in London, Ontario and raised in Southampton by her loving parents, Marjorie and Ellis Millard. She graduated from Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing in 1960 and later went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in 1975 at the University of Manitoba. She was proud to have practiced and taught nursing in many parts of the country throughout her career. Word of Joyce’s passing touched many and our red- headed friend will be best remembered for her thoughtfulness, generosity, kindness, sense of humour and that winning smile! Joyce retired in Vancouver and enjoyed many years of friends and travel before embarking on her last journey. Family, friends and colleagues are invited to attend a Graveside Service at the Southampton Cemetery on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. Followed by a time of refreshment and fellowship at the St. Paul’s Community Hall, 248 High St. Southampton. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
