BERGEN, Joyce Elizabeth (nee Horning)
Born September 27, 1927 in Hamilton, an only child to Oliver Mowat and Bertha Gladys Horning, and raised on the family farm in Waterdown. Joyce had a long ancestral heritage in the Waterdown, Burlington, Ancaster and Hamilton area. Joyce passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, at the age of 91. Google Maps Grandmother to Matthew, Jordan, Thomas and David. Sister-in-law to Fern Sheppard and Lenard Bergen. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Dr. Hugh Boyd and all the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at KINGDOM HALL, 370 Brock Rd., Dundas, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment at a later date at Waterdown Cemetery.
Donations to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Canada or the World Wildlife Fund would be appreciated by the family.
