MacLean, Joyce (nee Garnett) (prev. Durant)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at The Maples Nursing Home in Tavistock, on July 27, 2018, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her first husband Murray Durant and her second husband Chesley MacLean.
Loving mother of Lynn Eggleton (Jim), Diane Johnson (Rod), Chrissy Gingrich (predeceased), Richard Durant, Michael Durant, and Jennifer Wood (Mike). Cherished Nanny of twenty-three grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Joyce is survived by her brothers Jack (the late Faye), Gary (Mavis) and sister in law Sharon. Predeceased by her two sisters and two brothers.
Thank you to the loving nursing staff at The Maples Nursing Home in Tavistock for their outstanding care of mom over the last year and a half.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 3 – 5p.m. and 7 – 9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1p.m. followed by the interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens with reception to follow at the funeral home. For those who wish, donations to Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
