Josephine Puga
February 15, 1950 – October 7, 2018
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine Puga surrounded by her loving family on October 7th 2018 at the age of 68. Josephine will be greatly missed by her devoted husband Juvenal, of 41 years. Adored mother of Alexandro (Mary) and Fernando (Melissa), and much loved nonna of Ante. Cherished sister of Antonietta (Domenic) Nocciolino and Aurora Berardi. Much loved zia to Teresa Nocciolino and Lisa (Richard, Matteo, Malina) Tassone. Josephine is pre-deceased by her parents Ida and Stefano Berardi. She has returned to their loving care. She will also be missed by extended family, cousins and aunts. Josephine’s faith was a cornerstone of her life and she was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony’s Parish. Many thanks to her friends and companions over the years from the Pope John Paul Rosary group. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL 43 Barton St. E (near James) on Thursday, from 5-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church (Barton and Prospect) on Friday October 12, 2018
at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek mountain. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Anthony of Padua Parish would be appreciated by the family. Always in our prayers and thoughts and forever in our hearts.
