Joseph Welches
May 12, 1930 – December 24, 2018
Passed away at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care on Monday December 24th, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Hoffmann) Welches. Dear father of Ingrid Brans (John) and Margaret O’Hagan (Dennis). Loved grandfather of James and Jennifer Brans and Peter, Katie, Heidi, and Paul O’Hagan. Dear brother of Stefan Welches (Hilda).
Joseph’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Friday December 28th, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (prayers at 8:30 pm). A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 am Saturday December 29th, 2018 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1839 Notre Dame Dr, St. Agatha, ON. Cremation will follow. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society.
