Joseph Ronne « Ron » Langlois
November 18, 1935 – August 22, 2018
LANGLOIS, Joseph Ronne “Ron” – Halifax. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph Ronne Langlois on August 22, 2018 at the Victoria General Hospital, following a brave battle with lung cancer at the age of 82 years. Born in D’Escousse he was a son of the late Louise & Eveline (Boudreau) Langlois. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Anne, siblings Vivian, Paul (Kim), Barbara, Jack (Madeline). He was predeceased by siblings Joyce and Louis. Ron will be deeply missed by Audrey, Brenda, Loretta, and especially by Monica and David who have been on this journey with us from the very beginning. Ron was employed with the Dept. of Transportation retiring after 32 years of service, where he made many friends and remained in contact with them. Losing Ron not only breaks the heart of all who loved him, it throws our hearts in rewind remembering and cherishing the impact he has made on all of us. Special thanks to the V.G. Palliative Care Team, 7A nurses and doctors, also a thank you to Johanne for the wonderful music she provided each week. We will celebrate Ron’s life with a service followed by a reception, 2:00 p.m. Friday August 31, at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bedford. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Soul’s Harbour Mission
