Passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his home at the age of 86. Beloved husband to Irene for 55 years. Loving Dad to Natalia (Philippe) Saraiva, Louisa (Gilbert) Rodrigues and Irene (Brian) Lewis. Cherished Grandpa to Richard (Aveen), Solange, Marcus, Isabella and Zachary.
Joseph’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 12:20 p.m. followed by a procession to St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, 85 Strange St., Kitchener, for the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery followed by a reception at the family home, 2 Rockwood Rd., Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
