Jorden’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jorden Joseph McKay (Bennett) born July 24, 1991 announce his sudden passing in Corner Brook, NL on Nov. 28, 2018 at his residence at the age of 27 years. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Kaylee and his son, Jay; mother, Dianne McKay and father, Joseph Bennett. His siblings: Maureen (Jody) McKay, Lisa (John) Greening and Jason McKay; Grandmother Rita Bennett; Nieces Skylor, Chelsea, Brittany, and Hailey; Great niece, Lexi; Great nephews: Jacob, Stephen and Connor; Uncles: David Campbell, Doug (Della) Campbell and Glen Campbell; Aunts: Joan Bowie, Brenda Power, Audrey (Peter) Curtis, Leona (Jim) Hynes and Madonna (Glen) Curtis; Great Aunt Marion Lyver; close friends Tommy Park, Joey Jesso, Jesse (Tubby) Bennett, Justin Duffney, Kevin Hynes and Co Co as well as many extended family and friends. Jorden was predeceased by his grandparents: Emma Jean Campbell, Martin Ignatius Webb, and Benjamin Francis Bennett; Uncles: Robert Campbell, John Bowie and Kevin Power; and his aunt Marilyn Ann Gabriel. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 & Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at 10:30 am with Father White officiating. Cremation to follow, interment to take place at a later date.
