Obituary of John Hands
Peacefully at John Joseph Place in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018. John Arthur Hands, of Owen Sound, at the age of 83 years. Father of Stephen Hands and Helen Hands, both of British Columbia. John is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Hands, of Toronto and his niece, Rachel Stephens (Mark), of Port Hope and their children, Gabriel, Miriam and Kayla. He will be missed by Keith Beedham (Deborah), of Fergus and his many friends in Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Margaret Hands and his brother, Robert Hands.
A Memorial Visitation for John Hands will be held at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Sunday, June 24th 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce as your expression of sympathy.
