Obituary of John Feduck
Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on November 20, 2018 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian – 2006. Dear father of Tim (Ruth) and Wendy. He will be dearly missed by his friend and caregiver Joyce Tkac. Survived by his siblings; Mary Williams (late Glen), Grace Cavasin (late Romeo), Donald Feduck, Paul Feduck (Margie), Elsie Demers (Late Lionel), Margaret Hanson (Late Alan), and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his other siblings and their spouses; Bill Feduck (Dorothy), Ann Novosel (Nick), Nell Coghlan (James), Violet Colford (John), Francis Robins (Wilfred), and Pauline Feduck. John was a highly decorated Paratrooper with the Canadian Armed Forces in World War II. He was attached to British Airforce fighting in numerous battles earning himself many metals. He was recognized as a Knight of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour.
The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56 Port Colborne will hold a Legion Service on Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Service will follow the visitation in the Armstrong Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56.
