John T. McCarthy

It is with great sadness that the family of John Thomas McCarthy announce his passing on April 2, 2018 at the Miller Centre at the age of 79. John was predeceased by his wife Patricia, parents Peter and Mary McCarthy, his parents-in-law Richard and Anne Rogers, sister Patricia (Stan Carew), brother Charlie and brothers-in-law Paul Rogers and George Brignell. Leaving to mourn sons Ken (Michelle), Keith (Rhonda), Kevin (Lynn) and daughters Karen Peddle and Krista King (Jason). Missing their grandad are Meghan, Christopher, Douglas, Ashley, Sabrina, Natasha, Alexander, Emma, Kamron, Katelyn, Rachel and great granddaughter Aoife. John also leaves behind his sisters Betty Brignell and Maureen Smith (Jack), sisters-in-law Rosemary McCarthy and Florence Rogers, brother-in-law Peter Rogers (Maureen), special friend Marie Kieley and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 6pm – 9pm and Wednesday from 2pm – 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 9:30 am from St. Theresa’s Church. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Teresa’s Church Mundy Pond or a charity of one’s choice.
