Death Notice
In the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, John Ross passed away at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Ina Ross (2008). Loving father of Heather (Don) Blythe, Glen Close, and Kirk Ross (Karen Morningstar). Cherished grandfather of Laura Blythe (Wes Cowan), Tara Blythe (Rick Kyle), Wayne (Heather) Blythe, and Kim Close (Brenden Vowell). Treasured great-grandfather of Evan and Caiden Cowan, Liam and Avery Kyle, and Nolan and Logan Blythe. Dear brother of Jessie Wallace, Alex Ross, Nan Gosden, and Willie Ross. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother George Ross. John was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and was an avid fan of the Glasgow Rangers F.C. He was a member of Sarnia Local 663, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 and Greenwood Golf Club for many years. John will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation or the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Service
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
