Mr. John Jan Orysik
February 27, 1928 – July 15, 2018
ORYSIK, John Jan, passed away suddenly at Langley Memorial Hospital July 15th, 2018. John was born in Sanok, Poland on February 27th, 1928. John moved to Canada with his wife Mary and daughter in April of 1966 and made Vancouver his home. John worked as a carman for CP Rail from 1966 until he retired in 1993. John was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and brother William. John is survived by his daughter Bogusia, granddaughters Teresa (Jim), and Margaret (Ryan), and 6 great-grandchildren Marek, Lukas, Milena, Hunter, Cole, and Jacob. In 2010 John moved in with Teresa and Jim to Langley, their children were fortunate to have their great-grandfather around them every day. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that cared for John at LMH, their compassion and kindness helped everyone through this difficult time.
