ROUSSEAU, John Henry
1958 – 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, brother, son, uncle and friend, John Henry Rousseau. Originally from Pine Falls, MB, John was raised in Calgary but spent his adult life living in British Columbia, and most recently Penticton. He passed away on April 13, 2018 having spent his final days surrounded by his three children, sisters, father and friends. John is predeceased by his mother, Norma Rousseau, who is surely holding him tight while we grieve his loss and celebrate his life. John leaves behind his father, Fred Rousseau (Thuyhang), as well as his four sisters: Joan, Julie (Bruce), Jennifer (Peter) and Jane (Joe). He was loved by his nieces and nephews for his charm, infectious laugh and witty sense of humor. More immediately, John leaves his daughter Danielle (Connor), grandson Maxim, son Nicholas (Bryson), Gail (Danielle and Nicholas’ mother and John’s former partner), as well as his daughter Christine (Ryan) and grandchildren Brenna and Parker. He will be dearly missed by his furry companion, Russ his orange Manx-tabby, who was never far from his side. In lieu of flowers, if inclined, please forward any donations to the Penticton SPCA. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at Eden Brook Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
