OBITUARY
John Gerald Moroz
August 17, 1942 – December 20, 2018
John Gerald Moroz passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional Hospital on December 20, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.
John is survived by his loving partner, Leona Gallant, his sisters Audrey Moroz and Tasha Moroz, his brother Edward Moroz, as well as nephews, a niece, and numerous friends. His death is preceded by his parents John and Jessie Moroz, and his sister, Phyllis Moroz.
John retired on Vancouver Island after working for the CNR for 35 years. He was an avid sportsman, playing hockey as a teen, and a lover of nature who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He took pride in working the land and building his own log cabin.
John was known for his kindness and generous spirit and will be greatly missed.
