John E. Manax Sr.
1931-2018
Peacefully, after a
short illness, with family by his side, at University Hospital on
Wednesday, January 31, 2018, John Sr. passed away in his 87th
year. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Marjorie (Charlton)
Manax (1997). Loving father of Shari Manax (deceased 1999),
John Manax Jr. & his wife Heather, Mark Manax & his
wife Charlene and Susan & her husband Jim Sandlak all of
London. Loved by his grandchildren Jordan (Maria), Jaime
(Sonny), Patrick (Lora), Carter (Rachel), Michelle (Braedan) and
Erin. Proud great-grandfather of Thalia &
Daxton. Dear brother of Athena (deceased 2004) & her
husband Bill (deceased 2009), Barbara, Helen, Stan &
Bill. Loved by many nieces & nephews.
John had a well
respected 48 year career with the A&P Food Company.
His greatest love was his family and in his own words
« Nothing in this world has meant more to me than my
family ». He is now rejoicing with his
beloved wife & daughter.
Friends will be
received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between
Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday from 2-4 &
7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Logan Chapel on
Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in
Woodland Cemetery.
