John Barkley
At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 15, 2018, John Barkley of Morrisburg, age 82. Loving husband of Judy Barkley (nee Shaver) and the late Lorna Jean Barkley (nee Cooke). Loving father of Kim Wheeler (Stewart) of Winchester and Steve Barkley (Kelly Hawker) of Williamsburg. Dear stepfather of Rob Corry (Carol) of Morrisburg, Peter Corry of Cornwall and Elizabeth “Toots” Dixon (Bart) of Cardinal. Dear brother of Jenny Baldwin of Morrisburg, Velma Wood of Watertown, Wilda Marriner (Perry) of Chesterville and Velleda Gainer (Garry) of Dixons Corners. John will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Alison and Erin and his step-grandchildren Natalie and Kurtis. Dear brother-in-law of Marian Michalicka of Mariatown and Carol Daisley of Iroquois. Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Estella Barkley (nee Murdock) and his brothers Ray, Paul and Don. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 19th at 1 p.m. Donations to the J.W.
