Hans was born in Graz, Austria and passed away peacefully at the age of 95 at the Belvedere Care Centre. He is now reunited with many of his family and friends. Hans was predeceased by his wife, Christa and is survived by his daughter Michelle (Michael), his son Eric and beloved grandchildren, Sebastian and Alex.
Hans came to Canada in the 1950’s and was a long time resident of first North Vancouver and then Coquitlam. He was headstrong and opinionated and loved to talk politics or world news with anyone he could engage. He worked as an electrical contractor for over 50 years and during his off time Hans enjoyed golfing with his friends and later years sitting by his fireplace listening to his opera music or audiobooks.
Special thanks to the staff at the Belvedere for their care and compassion; although you only met John four months ago, know that he adored you all.
